Wayland boys varsity volleyball won the opening playoff game against Pioneer Charter School of Science with a 3-0 sweep on Saturday May 30, kicking off the championship season. The game was a chance for the usual lineup to be mixed around and for players to challenge their flexibility with positions.

Globe marble: I’ve had it since eighth grade and I take it on any big trip.

Little cross: To remind me what’s important to me.

Kindle Fire: So I can read and stay connected.

Journal: So I can write about what I experience.

French book: To help me keep my French sharp.

Pictures of family: Because I love them.
