Wandering Backpack: Katherine Wang

Wandering Backpack asks what you would bring if you had 10 minutes to pack a bag with your most treasured items, knowing you wouldn’t be back for years.

Naked by David Sedaris: David Sedaris writes really good short stories and they always make me laugh.

Phone and headphones: For communication, for pictures and for music.

Lip balm: Chapped lips are the eighth deadly sin.

Old pictures: I love these pictures a ridiculous amount.

Post cards: My sister sent me a post card almost everyday this summer while I was at camp. If I were to leave I would miss her a lot, so I would definitely want to bring these.

Bach’s Suites: If I couldn’t bring my cello I would want to bring sheet music. The Bach Suites are incredible solo pieces that I could play if I ever had access to a cello.

Journal and pencil: I would want to write about what I saw and the places I went.

Camera: I would want pictures wherever I was going.

Kinhaven t-shirt: Kinhaven is a second home for me. So if I were leaving home I would want to take a piece of it with me.

Mia: For constant entertainment and weird food concoctions.
