Wayland boys varsity volleyball won the opening playoff game against Pioneer Charter School of Science with a 3-0 sweep on Saturday May 30, kicking off the championship season. The game was a chance for the usual lineup to be mixed around and for players to challenge their flexibility with positions.

When did you start making art?
I always liked it, but I started being serious about it when I took painting with Mrs. Armentano my sophomore year.

What’s your favorite medium to work with?
I like a bunch of different things. I like oil painting and photography the most.

Are you planning to pursue art in the future?
I’m not sure if I want to major in it, but I want to keep making art.
