Wayland boys varsity volleyball won the opening playoff game against Pioneer Charter School of Science with a 3-0 sweep on Saturday May 30, kicking off the championship season. The game was a chance for the usual lineup to be mixed around and for players to challenge their flexibility with positions.

I am a 18 year-old senior girl and have a crush on a freshman 14 year old boy. He’s smart, nice, funny, and athletic. What should I do?

This “crush” that you have is not going to work out for you. My advice to you is to forget about it now. This age difference in high school is too large for you. You are 18 and he is 14. Although you seem to like him for the right reasons. There are plenty of other guys in this school for you closer to your own age. Nothing good can come for you from pursuing this crush.
