Wandering Backpack: Maggie Hojlo

Wandering Backpack asks what would you bring if you had 10 minutes to pack a bag with your most treasured items, knowing you wouldn’t be back for years.

Hat: This would remind me of my neighborhood and family because my neighbors and I started the Diggin’ Dudes Club when we were younger.

Sneakers: A practical item to have, and I love running for fun and exercise.

Water bottle: I’ve got to stay hydrated.

Night vision goggles: My friend gave me these as a fun Christmas present, and they would keep me safe and entertained.

ChapStick: I almost always have ChapStick with me.

Unbroken by Laura Hillenbrand: This is an amazing story that I don’t think I would ever get bored of.

Quote: Coach Porrell gave us this “Capacity to Believe” quote in class one day, and I like it a lot.

Necklace: This is from my soccer team this year, and I wear it every day.

Turtle: I got this as a reward for a bet in which I had to jump into some freezing cold Maine water in fall.

Jake: Might as well be stranded with a friend, a friend who was also standing nearby when this picture was taken.
