News:
Staff Reporter Aimee Smith talked to WHS teachers about the return of WHS finals. Editor Tess Alongi briefed readers on a Chipotle Fundraiser hosted by the class of 2023. Alongi also shared locations for an extended advisory on Thursday, March 3.

Staff Reporters Tina Su and Hallie Luo covered the Alliance Club walk out in protests of Florida’s “Don’t Say Gay” bill that passed on Feb. 24. Staff Reporters Nadya Chase and Katya Luzarraga broke news on the North Building fire alarm that malfunctioned four times in one week.

Sports:
Staff Reporter Sasha Libenzon reported on Wayland calling off playing Westford Academy due to racist comments at a basketball game.

“During a girls varsity basketball game at Westford Academy (WA), an act of racism occurred from the WA student section that was directed towards a Wayland player,” Libenzon said. “As a result, Wayland Superintendent Dr. Omar Easy decided to withdraw all games against WA for the upcoming spring season.”

Staff Reporter Sasha Libenzon produced a gallery from Nordic Ski’s practice where they prepared for states.

“The Wayland High School Nordic ski team prepares for their state meet (Feb. 16) on Monday, Feb. 14,” Libenzon said. “The team has practices every day at the Weston Ski Track. As it is one of the few traditional ski tracks in the area, some other schools practice there at the same time. At the state meet, the boys finished in eighth place and the girls in seventh.”
