Green team protests plastic water bottle distribution

On Friday, Oct. 29, WHS’s Green Team held a protest before school to get the water turned back on at the school. Due to PFAS levels in the town water, the school turned off the running water last year and since then, have been supplying plastic water bottles. The Green Team have taken issue with the amount of plastic waste coming from the school. They asked students to sign a petition urging administration to turn the water back on and end the supply of plastic water bottles.
