Football clinches a close victory against Holliston

The Wayland Warrior football team battled out their final game of the season against Holliston on April 13. During the first half of the game, the Warriors were losing; however, they made a comeback after halftime. Wayland won with a final score of 39-37. This game marked the last game for all the seniors on the team.
This season the Warriors had eight 2021 DCL Small Allstars: cornerback Ryan Bonvie, wide receiver Will Carr, outside linebacker Shane DeRubeis, linebacker Nick Dresens (Defensive Player of the Year), Safety Adam Goodfellow, kicker Harry Kiesman, offensive tackle Matt Morris (Lineman of the Year) and running back Jaison Tucker.
