News:
Staff Reporter Lucy Grasso spoke to Wayland community members about the return of Wayland Youth Basketball after a year-long hiatus due to COVID-19. Staff Reporter Sasha Libenzon reported on the first freshman executive board fundraiser. WSPN staff covered a protest at the WMS due to multiple racist incidents.

Sports:
Staff Reporter Bella Schreiber highlighted each fall varsity sports team in her season recap. Staff Reporter Nina Wilson featured Jun Waye in this month’s addition of Athlete of the Month.

Multimedia:
WSPN Staff brought viewers along to Spirit Day 2021. Staff reporter Morgen Warner, along with WSPN’s Deirdre Brown, produced a gallery from the Wayland girls Powderpuff game against Weston. Editors Olivia Tawakol and Charlotte Thirman shared highlights from the Powderpuff game. Thirman and Tawakol also shared the behind the scenes of WSPN in the Welcome to WSPN video.

A&E:
Editor Brasen Chi spoke to David Arenas in this month’s edition of Fashionista of the Month. WSPN’s Kris Poole-Evans reviewed the video game “Persona 4 Golden.”

Opinion:
Staff Reporter Katya Luzarraga shared her opinion on the Kyle Rittenhouse verdict, and how it has caused our nation’s polarized politics to be put on trial. Editor Genevieve Morrison spoke about “Crafting Day,” and her belief of the power of made-up holidays. WSPN’s Jonathan Zhang wrote about why he is grateful in the newest edition of Jonathan’s Journal.

Broadcast:
Staff Reporters Abby Raftery, Mischa Lee and Emma Zocco spoke about the Coach Grill Turkey Trouble and Anonymous Instagram Accounts in Episode 36 of Weekly Breakdown. WSPN’s Aditya Weling and Staff Reporters Ari Zukerman and Lucy Grasso spoke about several professional sports topics in season four episode two of Wayland Sports Chat.
