Wandering Backpack: Carson Hart

WSPN’s newest series, Wandering Backpack, asks what would you bring if you had 10 minutes to pack a bag with your most treasured items, knowing you wouldn’t be back for years.

Sleeping bag: I like to sleep, and I need something to keep me warm.

Lacrosse stick: Something I like to fiddle around with; it keeps me occupied and having fun.

Bottle of green tea: I love the taste of it. It’s the thing I drink most second to water, and it always makes me feel relaxed.

Boots: I took those boots hiking with my friends Lee Junkin and Mark Blahnik on the Appalachian Trail this summer, and they served me well.

Goggles: I love to snorkel and look around and see what’s going on under the water. It’s like a whole new world under the water.

Hat: Keeps the sun out of my eyes, and I love to be reminded of Maine.

Flashlight: When it gets dark, you always need a flashlight.

“Decision Points” by George Bush: He was president at an interesting time, so there are a lot of interesting points he discusses, and it gives you something to think about.
