Destruction of the old Wayland High School began as soon as students and teachers moved into the new buildings but is not expected to be fully completed until fall 2012. On Friday, February 3, 2012, the old Commons came down.

    I remember those old builings well i went to school when they were brand new i was the 2 nd class to graduate ou tof that facility 1962 i would love to get a brick from one of the old buildings kind of sad to see them come down it is a shame that the monopoly board will be destroyed also

    looks like chernobyl or something : i hope they give us a chance to buy a brick or something, i definitely want one from the history building. it's just one of those things.
