Scrambled: When things don’t go your way

Red, green or turquoise, this recipe comes out well every time. The cake is moist, and there is always plenty of extra frosting. I recommend putting an oversized scoop on each cupcake. I really hope you try this recipe because no matter what color, I promise you won’t be disappointed. Enjoy!
Jennifer Mast, a guidance counselor at Wayland High School, teaches yoga classes after school, at Winter Week and for wellness classes. She wants students and faculty to have an accessible opportunity to do yoga.

“If you’re going to give yoga a try, give it two or three tries. Often times, it can feel like anything brand new, a little intimidating at first. But if you give it a few chances, you’ll find what works for you,” said guidance counselor Jennifer Mast.
Assassin is a game and senior class tradition in which students must squirt water on other student targets in order to eliminate them. The top three finishers and assassin with the most kills will receive sizable cash prizes. WSPN will be updating this page throughout the game, so check back to see whos still in and who has been eliminated.

Dean of Sudents Scott Parseghian announced that this year, the senior Assassin game will not be permitted on school grounds. According to Principal Pat Tutwiler, students have not respected administrators' set parameters for the game in past years.
As a part of the Walden Forum, Jimmy Tingle spoke at the First Parish Meeting House about his work as a comedian.

Being a political comedian allows Tingle to express his opinions on matters that he considers important. Tingle explained that unlike politicians, he has the freedom to say what he believes without worrying about a target demographic of voters.
Demolition of the old Wayland High School is scheduled to be completed March 5.

Over the past few weeks, the old Wayland High School has disappeared. Students and teachers watched from the new school as the seven buildings they once occupied were torn down, one by one. The demolition process has many small phases that will take place over the next few months, with the project slated to finish August 17, 2012.
Following the Rachels Challenge presentation in early January, a group of students and faculty created a club called Friends of Rachel to continue to spread the presentations message of kindness and compassion.

“Change is hard, in any school climate,” Mast said. “I think a lot will depend on whether or not the group can work together, can the kids feel good about trying to do this, and what kind of feedback they get from the rest of the school.”
Kenya Heard, a Wayland High School senior, is the first place winner of the 2011-2012 Massachusetts InvestWrite competition, achieving Wayland High Schools sixth consecutive year of placing state or nationwide in this competition.

The girls' swim and dive team won the MIAA division two state championship at Blodgett Pool at Harvard University Sunday night.
Students are interviewed about the new restaurant,  Giacomos, at the Wayland town center. It replaced Bertuccis, which filed for bankruptcy in April 2018.
