WSPN (Wayland Student Press Network) is on the cutting edge of high school technology, and it has already received positive attention from famous media bloggers. In order to grow and truly be a student-centered network, WSPN has started to look for students who are interested in getting in on the ground floor of this new student medium. Many different positions are available: reporters, writers, photographers, broadcasters, marketers, technicians, cartoonists, volunteers, sports editors, graphic artists, and video editors, to mention a few.
Recently, a student information form was made for WSPN, and copies of the form are located outside of the main office. The form consists of questions that will help student participants and editors to communicate and develop ideas for features. The last question on the form is “Do you see a bright future in WSPN?” So far, students who have submitted the form have answered, “yes.” As a new online student medium for Wayland High School, WSPN seeks many student participants who are interested in being part of an organization that hopes to continue exceeding Wayland community’s high expectations.
