Scrambled: Searching for something new

(Credit: Evan Barber/WSPN)

Last weekend, I finally exhaled as the stressful days of mid-terms ended. The weekend provided a nice homework-free break, so I decided to try out a new recipe. Instead of searching through old cookbooks, I found myself Google-ing different types of cookies that would satisfy my sweet tooth.

After scrolling through countless ways to make the classic chocolate chip or oatmeal cookie, I found a more interesting recipe for Mississippi Mud cookies.

These cookies definitely satisfied my chocolate craving. The chocolate based cookies mixed with chocolate chips make them extremely rich. Gooey marshmallows top them off, giving them an extra burst of sweetness.

The recipe was simple and the only problem I had while making them was figuring out how long to bake them. Although it said to keep them in for 10-12 minutes, it took around 15 minutes for them to cook all the way through.

Enjoy!
