Massachusetts has a new Hands Free Driving Law that makes it illegal to be holding a cell phone while driving. The law is starting on Feb. 23, 2020. It’s a habit of phone for many people, so essentially, it’s like an addiction. They can’t put it down, and they need to constantly check it and be on it and just because they’re in a car, [the law] isn’t going to stop them from doing that, history teacher Sean Chase said.

The differences in room temperature throughout WHS have been bothersome among a lot of students and faculty members, sometimes even affecting the students’ work and focus during class. “[The extreme room temperature] can mess with the students’ focus. It is important to know what we can do as a society to prevent a death before medical help arrives. The amount of time it takes for an ambulance or help to arrive isn’t always short enough to get the victim before they bleed out, and if we can prevent a death from happening before help arrives, we could be able to save so many lives, Leonard said.
